Music Not Playing or Don't Know What to Do?

Media Players

If you don't have any of the players loaded on your computer you will need to download one of the players from the download page. (It Is FREE) Winamp is the best media player in my opinion. If you don't want to bother with this, windows has the media player already installed on your computer, just select media player button to play.

  - Icon is for Winamp Player.

         - Icon is for Windows Media  Player  (New Listeners w/ Windows use this one.)

            - Icon is for Real Player.

           - Icon is for iTunes Player.

- With the Site Player You Don't Need a Player on Your Computer. Just Click on the icon on the Home Page or the Now Playing... Page..

Connection Type

128 kb/s: This is a CD quality connection, it works with a high speed connection (DSL, Cable connection)

64 kb/s: This connection would be used for phone line connections, wifi & cell phone connections. (If you use the the 128 kb/s and your connection has slowed down (Buffering) use the 64 kb/s Connection.)

Buffering Problem:

If you connection occasionally is buffering your connection has slowed down. This means that there a lot of people in your area using up the bandwidth. If you are in an office setting this will happen when a lot of people are on your companies internet connection.

Fixing Problems connecting to your SHOUTCast radio and you have a Router:

If you can't get other ppl to connect to your server because your ip address is something like 192.168.1.100, that is because that is a private networking number, and about 1000k ppl have that same ip. What you need to do is

1. See what ur Ip Address is.

2. Go to ur router settings

3. Find your "Forwarding" options.

4. Find something like Service Port Range and change that to 8000 ~ 8000 (Default port number for SHOUTCast)

5. Now change the internal network ip address (e.g. 192.168.1.___) to 192.168.1.100 (Or whatever your ip address on the private network is.)*

6. Hit Apply

You should be done. This worked for me. Now for the number to get to your SHOUTCast?? Go to here and see what that number says your ip address is. Then, type http://urip:urportnumber/listen.pls**

Note the ** is for information, not part of the url.

* To find this out, for Windows 95, 98, or ME(not sure on ME) click Start>Run> Type winipcfg> Ok> Make sure your Ethernet Card is selected (e.g. CardBus 10/100 Fast Ethernet Adapter) and then the number is there under IP Address. For WINDOWS 2000 PRO (not sure if it's the same on Home version) Start> Programs> Accessories> Command Prompt> Type ipconfig> It's beside IP Address -That should be all

** http:// is required and it is also case sensitive (This won't work e.g 192.168.1.100/Listen.pls wouldn't work nor will this e.g. 192.168.1.100/listen.pls)

Music Requests

You are able to request 5 songs per 90 minutes, 25 per day. The song should play within 5 to 10 minutes after request. Some times it won't play the request for some reason, I am looking into this. Please do not abuse this privilege, the software will not take your requests. (For Example If you keep requesting the same song 2 of 3 times in a row.). If kicked off you can email me to get back on.
